As a :DOMUS7 resident, you live with up to 24 flatmates on one floor and are only a few minutes' walk from the lecture haal or the city centre.

We provide fully furnished rooms. The furnishings include a bed, wardrobe, desk, shelf and washbasin with mirror cabinet. All student rooms are equipped with a LAN connection, which can be used to access the university network and the Internet.

Kitchen
At :DOMUS7, we share a wide variety of rooms. We are particularly proud of our kitchens, which are over 100m² in size and which you share with 24 other flatmates. The kitchens have been freshly renovated and invite you to linger together.

Co-Working-Space
As a resident, you will also find the room that serves as a ‘co-working space’ on the 7th floor. This is where we study for our exams and can concentrate on one thing away from all distractions.

Rooftop terrace
If you want to take a café break, you can relax on our terrace. From there you can enjoy a wonderful view over Karlsruhe. The south-facing orientation means you always have sun here.

Waschin maschines
In :DOMUS7 you will find a washing machine room including an electric dryer and a separate drying room. You can wash your laundry here and either put it in the tumble dryer or hang it up to dry.

Sports room, copying room and music room
In the basement we also have a sports room with fitness equipment that saves you a gym membership. You will also find a printing room where you can print and bind at material prices. Next to it you will find our music room for making music and our in-house bar. 

Our student residence :DOMUS7 is located right in the heart of Karlsruhe. We are right next to the Moltkemensa, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and just a few minutes' walk from the city centre and KIT.

The rent includes all the points listed above. So not only will you get a room in a great location, but also a fully equipped hall of residence and access to a cool community.

There are a total of 7 floors in :DOMUS7. Each floor has its own kitchen, living room, balcony, showers and toilets. 23 rooms per floor are 12m² and two rooms are 18m².

Kitchen:
Each floor has a new spacious communal kitchen with a generous dining area. All kitchens have basic equipment including fridges, freezers, several hobs, ovens and dishwashers and form the hub of life on each floor.

Living room:
The living room offers another meeting place for us as residents. Sitting together in a cosy atmosphere, playing games, watching films - it's not just in the evenings that the family character of the floor community becomes clear here.

Balkony:
Each balcony is individually designed by floor and offers a place for cosy barbecues on warm summer evenings. The balconies are connected to the roof terrace via the fire escape.

Showers and toilets:
Each floor has several showers and toilets that can be used by all residents on the floor. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a week by the cleaning company.

Cleaning service:
Our cleaning company regularly cleans the kitchens, sanitary facilities, corridors and stairwells. Our caretaker takes care of maintenance, care and repairs throughout the building. Our administration takes care of all organisational matters such as moving in, moving out, house rules, etc.
As a special service, residents are provided with cleaning materials and toilet paper free of charge.

Car parking
Do you have your own car? No problem!
Right next to the house is our own large car park, which you can use as a resident with a parking permit. There is a charge of €25 per year for the car park. The car park is limited to around 20 vehicles.

Motorbike parking spaces
Next to the cellar entrance there is a covered outdoor area where motorbikes and scooters can be stored.

Bicycle parking spaces and bicycle compartment
Each resident has a fixed bicycle parking space in one of the building's two bicycle compartments. There are also bicycle boxes that can be rented and outdoor parking spaces for additional bicycles in front of the building.

Green spaces and barbecue area
There are lawns around the building, which are a cosy place for barbecues, outdoor games or outdoor learning. We are also allowed to use the neighbouring residence's beach volleyball court.
